pre-order bonuses

Okay, maybe I'm missing something and I'd love to be corrected, but when/where was Heavy Rain actually offered as a pre-order bonus? I keep searching and I can't find a source that actually states any location had it as a preorder bonus. What almost every source says is if you preorder the digital deluxe edition you get instant access to Heavy Rain and that product still exists if you want to get it.

Now, whether it's an actual pre-order bonus or part of the incentive to get that edition, can we at least agree that it was a poor choice to offer roughly five weeks later? To put it into perspective, there has been literally one Plus update between Detroit: Become Human releasing and Heavy Rain being offered. Had this been a year or two later I don't think anyone would've said anything, outside of the usual I have this and don't like that I get less comment, but it seems really out of place. Especially since, even if we write off buyers, it ultimately devalues the edition for anyone who gets it with Plus.
