Yellow lume on new VSF V2 Seamaster. Is it just me or is this too yellow? More pics in comments.

Will do. The pictures on Omega website clearly show it as being white but you never know. There seems to be a difference between the two main types of lume that Omega uses. C1 superluminova being white and C3 being yellowish like mine. Omega has used C3 before but not clear if they have used it on this Seamaster.

Guy in this thread also complains of it looking yellow and main suggestion is that the lume is active. Watch is previous gen though.

However, I noticed the yellowness before even opening the plastic box through the bubble wrap. The watch was freshly taken out of the closed box and it looked yellow straight away so that seems to mean it’s not connected to it being active.

Only way to find out and that is going to an AD. I might even ask to try it on, should dust off my dress shirt.

This whole thing reminds me of my first rep purchase. An Aqua Terra that I sold precisely because the lume was too yellow. The guy that bought it was very happy though.
