They call them Fang Bangers. Usually young women with too much money, prior addictions to cocaine or pills and no career. Too much time on their hands. They meet up with some fella in a nightclub, get bit and then lose their shit. Most of the time they will just have a really, really bad month or two until the saliva gets out of their system.

Other times it ends much worst. They become obsessed with vampires, often frequenting the same club in which they were bit looking for their original assailant. Sometimes, they get bit once or twice more before they realize that there is something very abhorrent about having a hundred year old man who looks like he is twenty five and smells like rotting death sink his pearly whites into your neck.

The high is nice and fine but many become discouraged once they realize what actually happened.

Then there is that third breed. The one that gets bit a couple more times and comes back for more. Just like any drug, you can overdo it. Get bit by too many and your body just does not have the strength to go on. Oftentimes, the victim just falls into a coma and slips away peacefully.

Then some hit that golden window. It's like turning on the shower. One side is hotter than hell and the other is freezing cold. But there's that butter zone when it's all good times. Some women hit that window, where they get bit enough but not too much and if their bodies are strong enough, that's when they turn.

There is a very low chance of that happening though. Around one in a hundred thousand. That's why there aren't more vampires running amok. They don't even really know how many bites it takes to turn.
