I almost preodered this from bandcamp. They were out of the first run, and I knew I would be going to the album release show, so I took a chance. They had some of the first run there in hand!

Chat Pile is a sludge band from Oklahoma City. Their first LP came out today and has been blessede with positive reviews from Paste, Flood, Stereogum, and Pitchfork magazine - as well as the best new music pick (above Beyonce!) on Pitchforks main page.

I cant say enough good things about this band. If you are into noise, metal, punk, doom, sludge, death metal...if you like aggressive real rub your face in glass music, dont sleep on this.

I am so proud these guys are from Oklahoma. Keeep an eye out they are going to blow up and I am so thankful I got to see them as they were blasting off.

The show was in a cute little oddities store of all kinda witchy and magik type stuff...great show...even better album.

My favorite song on this one is "The Mask" so far but the whole thing is amazing.
