Is there a legal loophole one could exploit to legally produce leather products made from human skin?

I’m not against that, but most people wouldn’t go for it lol. Even after the person is dead, it’s illegal to do anything with their body like that. You’d have to look into the laws regarding death and disposal of dead bodies, burial rights. Some people do get the ashes made into jewelry and stuff like that. There might be some people out there who would be interested but it’s just not possible to do it ethically. You see, what happens when there’s a huge demand for human leather bound books, but not enough people willing to donate their body to that cause? Then you have to start procuring your bodies in unethical ways to keep up with demand. Along time ago people used to rob graves in order to allow people to study anatomy, because people were even so against donating their bodies to science at that time that medical students had never seen the inside of a persons body until they’re already doing surgery.
