Give it a rest. You're not hand-feeding me anything. You are clarifying your ambiguous comment so you can do this thing called communication. So, you're saying that a person is completely neutral on a subject unless they are friends with one of the parties?

All I was stating is that the people cited in the story don't sound like neutral parties. When you witness an accident, for example, and don't know anybody at the scene, that's a neutral witness. When your roommate has something happen to them and you explain the events to a publisher many years later, that doesn't sound very neutral, whether or not you prefer to characterize that person as a "friend" or not.
