Raytheon employee dead after shooting at facility in Tucson

After reading some other comments, I'm not sure why people are getting confused, so here's a timeline with quotes from the article:

  • "A Raytheon employee died in a shooting ... late Sunday, June 5."
  • "TPD said officers were called to the facility around 6:30 p.m."
  • This KOLD article is "Published: Jun. 5, 2022 at 9:12 PM MST."
  • "TPD, Tucson Airport Police Department and Pima County Sheriff’s Department were involved in a large-scale search of the area throughout the night. No suspects were found and the area was deemed safe."
  • "after a review of the scene, investigators said there are no outstanding suspects and the situation was completely contained to Raytheon property."
  • As of today, June 6, shortly after 5 PM, the article was "Updated: 6 hours ago."

I'll simplify it:

  • The employee dies.
  • Police arrive and begin trying to figure out what happened, including searching the area throughout the night to make sure.
  • The article is published.
  • The cops finish and have now determined there is no one outstanding.
  • The article is updated.
