I haven't been on Wattpad in a few months but it appears once they decided to move the forums to its own domain, there was something in the works to push undiscovered authors out. Obviously not everyone uses the forums but many people do and they are now on their own island without easy access to each other's works so, active forum users can no longer unintentionally push their works among active forum users since people can't access each other's profiles (the profile on that site is just a generic forum profile). The only way to see someone's profile is going back to the main domain and searching it (without getting a link), which many people are too lazy to do that.

Can't have the forum users messing with the writing/reading ratings so if they are separated then the non-forum users will only see what we want them to see not just because this person is very active in the community so everyone decided to check their work and liked it to push it up.
