Marquette is on my radar, thinking about moving there.

Hopefully I can piggy back off this. New to reddit and cant post directly yet. Apologies if I'm doing this incorrectly. I’ll be buying a house in the Marquette/Ishpeming/Gwinn/Negaunee area here in the next month and have some serious internet requirements that need to be met. The house I ultimately choose will largely depend on the quality of internet providers it has access to. I’m a streamer who plays FPS games, so reliability and speed are crucial to my career. I currently use Spectrum and have had great success with it. I’ve never really had any issues with it where I live and have always been helped when I call into the 800 number. On the other hand, I have friends in Marquette that say to stay away from Spectrum in these towns because it's hit or miss on reliability. Does anyone have experience with Spectrum in these areas or a provider that has 500 mbps or higher? I need a minimum of 300 mbps for downloads and gameplay to be smooth and can’t use satellite services because of latency fluctuation and low speeds. For any gamers on here, how is the ping on the games you play? Do any of you get on CoD, Battlefield, Halo, etc.? Does your internet get in the way of you performing? Thanks ahead of time for your input.
