Its best to stay put and not attack. Thats because this is a bubble. Each time you attack with full storages, you take loot from a player but then it never gets collected by you because you have full storages. This loot bubble is a continuation that started with QOL changes and has been perpetuated by specific updates, with the most recent free army updated being the biggest influencer. Now the overall loot available is being slashed and it will become harder, be patient. Although having full storages and letting the bright bars, constantly full, burn a image into your phone screen and possibly your retinas is a real problem, empty storages and idle workers is much worse. Smarten up.
