Why does it seem this subreddit attracts so many PS4/Xbox/PC players?

Who says they never cared about Nintendo to begin with?

  1. People are allowed to voice opinions, even if they're negative. That's how discussions work.

  2. You can't make an assumption that people with negative opinions never cared about it and then make am accusation that they are "brigading". You're starting an argument with yourself there, buddy.

  3. Obviously not everyone in the sub was pleased with the presentation. I'm mainly a PC gamer, but grew up with Nintendo handhelds and consoles and still like to keep current with them. As much as I love Nintendo, the presentation was off. Yes there was some good content, but mostly it was a disappointment for some due to the following:

A. Paid online service which was traditionally free

B. No fast charging

C. Price wasn't bad, but certainly wasn't a deal

D. Weak number of launch titles. That being said, BotW is a huge game. However, variety is key with video games.

E. No pack-in game like Wii Sports, Nintendo Land, Super Mario 3d, Mario Kart

F. Expensive accessories

G. No confirmed specs yet in terms of docked v undocked resolution and fps

H. Even the way it was presented. One of the translators was awful to listen to.

These are just a few things people have been talking about, and they're all pretty valid concerns.

Did I pre-order anyway? Yes, because I have faith in Nintendo and had always thought it would be better to have a portable Wii U or a 3ds that could play on TV. I'm patient with titles and I understand the prices for most of the parts (except the dock, wtf).

Let people express their thoughts, otherwise you'll only ever hear your own and if that's what you want, don't visit the sub anymore.
