Um, the clips had all the leverage. They went in to the summer thinking Chris was walking and they'd have to start the rebuild. The clips were doing us a favor by agreeing to the s+t and could easily have walked away and not been any worse off than they were planning on being. We, on the other hand, had no way to land Chris paul as a free agent.

That's why we paid what we did. We didn't have a choice. And at the end of the day it was totally worth it unless you don't think we were good enough to win the title if Chris stayed healthy.

Not to mention the fact trez fits even worse in to our current system than he did in the previous one. He still can't a hit a 3 so he's useless in a 5 out offense.
