Like, 75% of those acts aren't anywhere to be found in dude bro culture, they just aren't.
The Super Bowl oscillates between ancient, well known performers and whoever is hot at the moment. They either go with someone that is partially mummified or whomever that committee looks at and says "the kids are talking about this person/people".
BTS would never be booed at the actual show. Social media would be exactly as divisive as you can imagine but they wouldn't be treated poorly by the home crowd. Hell, BTS wouldn't even be the first boy band to perform (NSYNC).
