Ooooh boy, you should see the UK.

Banks can freeze your accounts for weeks without telling you why. They can close your account with a week’s notice and don’t have to say anything just that you breached their terms. No one is allowed to say anything at all or they face serious fines and prison time. There’s no appeals process, you can’t submit evidence or answer questions. If you complain they just give you the same T&Cs bullshit.

Everyone with a little sense will immediately know somethings up when the bank hangs up on them, but no, discussing anything isn’t allowed for tipping off reasons.

This is why I detest the banking system around here and couldn’t stand to work there
