Muskurane, Kesariya, or any other of Arijit’s song, you will feel that the emotion of the song is largely created by the background music and the depth of Arijit’s voice whereas the sadness or happiness is missing in the vocals. They’re sung the same way.

Listen to Shreya’s Beri Piya and just the way she says each word from piya to bedardi, there are a thousand expressions. She communicates the feeling of the writer really well just at the age of 16. Arijit, on the other hand, sings sad songs with a smile on his face and there’s no change in even his facial expressions, forget the emotions in his voice!
