As I mentioned, I’m not asking to be judged on what the issue was.

I’m asking the general question: AITA for commenting an opposing opinion on a Facebook post. As in, should any disagreement on charged issues be by default aired privately.

The reason I won’t say what the issue was is because that kind of post is against the rules in this subreddit, I’m not interested in whether people here disagree/ agree with me on that issue.

What I am interested in is whether I’m the AH for crossing some kind of unspoken social rule in regards to disagreeing with people on fb friends list about Facebook posts. As in should that just not be done.
