13 US States refuse to accept Syrian refugees

Certainly a hot topic right now of all places. I can see both sides, but does one side really stand out? How can we know what to do if we don't know what will happen? If we don't take any, man we'll get some more peace of mind at night, but if we do take them, we'll be helping them out, maybe they repay the favor by not being terrorists after all (if they even are, probably loads aren't). But then if you just simply say "nope, can't come" you don't have to worry about it.

Seems like a pretty tough call to me, but if I were allowed to make the call, I'd let some in, and see how it goes. If it's "all clear" then I'd let some more come. It's just a testing out phase. Maybe we could make little towns for them somewhere pleasant. They could live there if they wanted to and we could teach them about the American way of life, and when they feel they're ready to go out into the real world maybe we could help them find places to live and give them resources to help them find jobs. But thats a lot of tax money so it might not work - time's are tough, and we have to look out for our own. But, if everyone was RESPECTFUL maybe no one would get so angry to shoot others.

I'm no political science major, so I'll leave the talking to you guys. Just my opinion on it, and I don't know a whole lot, so I could be DEAD WRONG. But I think respect is key. If terrorists had some respect they wouldn't be terrorizing, and if we showed some respect a little more often, maybe the terrorists wouldn't be disrespectful or maybe they wouldn't even be terrorists. But maybe they are born to kill and terrorize and there's nothing we can do, but if that's the case, there's nothing we can do anyway because all they'll want to do is kill and terrorize so we should just live our lives and hope no one we love gets killed.

Anyway, I don't know a whole lot about this, but it's been in the news a lot especially after Paris so thought I'd just chime in a little bit and give my take. I hope none of you think I'm too stupid or anything, I know I'm not the smartest guy out there haha. But today when you go out and about just be nice and respectful, maybe pay a compliment here and there, and you'll defiantly have a good day because people will like you more. So if that's the case, maybe it will work for our governments to do the same thing? I don't know. Sometimes we have to defend ourselves, but I don't know.
